A Welsh artist returns to the water, four years after the death of his first son.

Synopsis:

Welsh artist Daniel Lazenby lost his son three days after his birth. In his attic studio, he spent nearly four years painting his inner world. Now, the private work is made public. Originally made for the @sheffdocfest Filmmaker Challenge 2026, The Blue Pool follows Daniel's voice through grief, taboo, and rebuilding, set against his darkly expressive, exploratory paintings.
